Hartland Media Group was founded in 2026 due to a simple observation. Local social media marketing was becoming too cookie cutter. Almost corporatized.
Our founder, Rob Hartranft, founded HMG with the intention of changing that. A small business is sacred in our community, and deserves to be marketed like so. Creative visuals and meaningful stories are just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to what HMG offers.

Meet the Founder
Rob Hartranft graduated from James Madison University with a B.A. in Public Relations, where he spent numerous seasons as a creative for the Athletics Department. After thousands of hours shooting sporting events, compounding with his years of experience in the hospitality and food service industry, Rob knows what people want to see.
